Soros-Funded Prosecutor Faces Intense Scrutiny Over Handling of Criminal Illegal Aliens

A radical left-wing prosecutor got absolutely destroyed on Capitol Hill Thursday when Republican lawmakers tore into his shameful record of protecting illegal alien criminals over innocent American victims. Virginia’s Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Stephen Descano, a George Soros-backed radical, faced withering criticism during a House Judiciary hearing that devolved into pure chaos as the facts came out. According to Fox News, Rep. Brad Knott finally had enough and told the squirming prosecutor to “be quiet” as he exposed case after case of inexcusable prosecutorial misconduct.

The most horrifying example involved a Honduran illegal alien who was caught and released under Biden’s disastrous border policies. This predator, Hyrum Baquedano-Rodriguez, allegedly raped a 4-year-old girl in Annandale, Virginia. The child’s mother found her daughter screaming, bruised on her buttocks and torso, after this monster “dropped” the girl and fled. Police obtained warrants for attempted murder, rape, and intent to defile a youth, which carries a maximum life sentence. But here’s where it gets truly outrageous.

Descano’s office immediately reduced the charges to pathetic misdemeanors that capped sentences at just 12 months and 10 years respectively. A four-year-old American girl was brutally assaulted, and this Soros prosecutor wanted to give the perpetrator a slap on the wrist. Even a liberal judge appointed by Democrat Mark Warner rejected Descano’s weak plea deal. Rep. Knott, a father of two young girls and former prosecutor himself, called Descano exactly what he is: a coward who cares more about protecting criminal illegals than American children.

The hearing exposed Descano’s written policy that explicitly instructs prosecutors to consider “immigration consequences” when deciding how to charge illegal alien criminals. This isn’t justice, it’s a two-tiered system that puts foreign lawbreakers above American victims. Another case involved Guatemalan illegal Jose Cortez-Mendez, accused of raping an American teenager. Descano’s office reduced those charges to a misdemeanor with just a 90-day suspended sentence. Meanwhile, ICE had to clean up the mess when Baquedano-Rodriguez walked free thanks to Descano’s failed prosecution.

This is exactly why Americans voted for strong leadership and an end to this radical prosecutor madness. Every single one of these cases represents real victims whose lives were destroyed while Soros-funded DAs play politics with public safety. The incoming administration needs to investigate every one of these rogue prosecutors and hold them accountable for the carnage they’ve enabled across our communities.
