Liz Peek: Faucis Fifth Amendment Plea Is No Mystery — His Own Diaries Already Confirmed the Lies

  |   By Liz Peek Staff

Fox News contributor Liz Peek joined Fox Business’s “Varney & Co.” as Dr. Anthony Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment during a congressional hearing, and she said the moment speaks for itself.

“That doesn’t look very good for him, frankly,” Peek said. “But look, I don’t think there’s any mystery about this.” She noted that Fauci’s organizations funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab, and that “two-thirds of Americans, the CIA, practically anyone who gives it any thought and looks at the evidence now” believes the virus originated there — something Fauci long dismissed because, she said, he knew he bore some responsibility “for six million people dying.”

Peek pushed back on a Washington Post piece framing the scrutiny as conservatives “going after” Fauci. “No, it isn’t conservatives going after Fauci,” she said. “It’s holding someone accountable who pretended that he knew more than he did” — on masking, on kids staying home from school, on toddlers wearing masks, and on vaccine transmission claims that turned out to be wrong. “The man lied to us over and over again,” she said, adding that Fauci’s own diaries, since published, confirm it. She described him as “an arrogant jerk, more concerned about literally being invited to appear on Dancing with the Stars than on his culpability for the deaths of millions of people.”

Peek argued the issue never should have become political, but that it did because Fauci “became a champion to the left because Donald Trump disagreed with him and he took on Donald Trump.” She closed by saying that even if Fauci takes the Fifth, and even if a pardon covers everything he’s done, “this humiliation is his comeuppance.”
