Liz Peek joined Steve Moore to discuss the mass exodus from blue states like New York and New Jersey, citing high taxes, overregulation, and anti-business policies as driving forces behind the loss of 3 million residents and $700 billion in income.
She slammed New York Democratic socialist Zoran Mamdami’s rent-freeze proposal, warning it would devastate the city’s housing market by discouraging investment and leading to deteriorating housing and rent spikes later — calling it “completely unworkable” and “defying common sense.”
Peek also criticized the surge in food stamp enrollment, saying it reflects a “culture of dependency” fueled by lax oversight and fraud in blue states that refuse audits. She argued that able-bodied adults should work, and that Democrats are using welfare expansion to inflate populations and preserve congressional seats.
